This is a photo of myself and Anna, at our wedding in Italy about 30 miles North of Rome on November 5th last.

We met on anotherfriend.com 3 years ago. We emailed each other for a couple of months before meeting. She was in Dublin and I in Wexford, we started off our email relationship saying that we would never meet, so that we could be completely honest and ask those 'awkward' questions that you could ask a stranger but wouldn't ask your friends!

We eventually met and me being a stickler for safety insisted that I pick her up at her parents house and I showed her my driving licence to prove that I was who I said I was!

We dated for about 11 months and I asked her to marry me just a few weeks after we decided to buy a house together, she thankfully said yes!! We think ourselves incredibly fortunate to have found each other and a huge, immense thank you has to go to anotherfriend.com for helping us!

We were both looking through the site for possible partners. She went through the "Quick Match" and my "wonderful" picture came up. We started sending emails and then long phone conversations. She went over to Ireland shortly after and we lost touch until she came back several weeks later. We met shortly thereafter and on Thanksgiving Day I proposed to her and she accepted. We were married on June 19th. It's all because of AF!

I joined another friend in 2003 and met many nice people and friends. I got an email of nice gay and we mailed for a while I remember he asked me to meet him and I turned him down as it was my Dads 50th Bday and we were having a family dinner.

We arranged to meet several times and with one thing or another it just never happened so after three weeks We finally got to meet on the 31st of Oct 2004 it was Halloween and we arranged to meet for lunch it was a sunday Htut was living in Dublin at the time and me in Portlaoise so he said he would come down on the train.

I remember when he got of the train he handed me roses in a lovely blue bag from M&S we want for lunch to our local hotel in portloise and we got on really well I never thought that anything would never come of it.
Htut lived in Dublin and worked up there so to meet up during the week it was hard so we started to spend weekends together.
I introduced him to my family on News Yrs day 2004 when I brought him to my parents for dinner.

In March 05 he moved down to Partlaoise to be with me, he travelled to work daily by train.
Htut proposed to me in April 05 and I accepted and we married on the 20th Oct 06 and have being very Happy every since.
I never thought in my life I could meet anyone on the internet and marry them and be so Happy.
