I would describe myself as:
A serious person with a sense of humour, isn't life full of contradictions! I hate greed, war, materialism, capitalism, cruelty to animals.I am loyal and honest, loving and affectionate. I can listen as well as talk, I sometimes enjoy peace and quiet and could spend all day walking through a forest or sitting on the beach, even in winter. I can cook, my friends drop in for indian style curries. I read history and biographies. After being a smoker for over 40 years I managed to quit in March this year, though unlike most who quit I have not become anti-smoking.

My ideal partner would be:
A non materialist, who wants a partner for friendship and love, rather than his salary. Someone who is not a slave to fashion or television, or competition with the jones. Someone creative and practical. A person tolerant of my flaws (no-one's perfect) as I would be of theirs.

My ideal date would be:
A walk on the beach.
