Welcome - happy reading, and I would like to wish everyone here a Happy New Year. I am looking for a nice lady who likes talking and is looking for companionship. My favourite television programmes are Match of the Day in sports, then Eastenders, Family Guy, Pat Short Royal family comedy show and father ted, On the Buses, Benny Hill Show, Are you being served,The Sweeney, Carry On films, Flashdance the 80's movie, documentaries on hotels. My hobbies are cycling football,running and walking,keeping fit,gardening and food. My favourite food is fish and chips and mushy peas. I love reading,irish history,listening to music and the internet.I am interested in politics and the state of our country. I would like to meet someone for a date first and then if we like each other go out properly.I answer all messages in the kindest way I can. The most tragic memory of the 80's was the breaking news of the Stardust fire in Dublin on television, it plunged everyone into sadness on that Valentines day.

My ideal partner would be:
Someone who likes me for what I am, chatty and good fun likes simple things. Chemistry is important. Someone who values companionship and a good friend. Someone who will not mess me around. Someone who is happy with what they have. Someone of cheerful disposition and good conversationalist. Good listerner, be able to chat, and trust is important. A bit of romance, be able to have a conversation on-line. Must be able to take a joke, happy in themselves. Honesty is a must.

My ideal date would be:
A quiet drink or a coffee to start, then meal in a hotel,a nice day out to the seaside or sightseeing trip, or a night out at the cinema.
